Only 7% of the pilots in the world today are women. Can we change that statistic? Erika Jackman, a pilot with Delta Air Lines, took time out of her flying schedule to inspire seven little girls.
In this video, Pilot Erika shows the girls the Boeing 787 jet with a Rolls Royce engine, and introduces the girls to some of the terms around planes and aviation. She also shares her life as a female pilot flying major commercial jets as well as private charters, all around the world. Delta Air Lines is the second-largest airlines in the world serving 183.7 million passengers per year, and Delta cares deeply about inspiring the next generation of girls to consider a career in aviation, especially being pilots! Come along with us on this journey and learn a thing or two. We encourage you to like and share this video if you also believe GIRLS CAN DO ANYTHING!
A VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU TO…
