Hi! I’m four year old Chef Devyn. I’ll teach you how to make Açai Bowls. It’s a total favorite of locals in San Diego. Did you know that Açai is packed with antioxidents? I hear that’s SUPER good for me! I learned that the açai berry is about one inch long, and it’s a reddish-purple colored fruit. (Pretty!) It grows on the special açai palm tree, which I might find when I head to Brazil next year!
The açai fruit has even MORE antioxidants than cranberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, or blueberries!
That’s some GOOD STUFF. Next time you go to the store, pick up the puree packets in the frozen food section and grab a few pineapples and berries too. (I even added some chocolate sauce and shredded coconut.) SO SO SO yummy!!
CHEF DEVYN’S AÇAI BOWL RECIPE
- 1 pineapple, cut in half longways
- 2 cups of açai puree
- 2 cut bananas, sliced
- 2 cups of pineapple, diced
- 1 cup of blueberries
- 1/2 cup of dried coconut
- Drizzle of chocolate sauce (if you like!)
